I am having trouble finding information whether I, an American citizen can strip dance in Helsinki and Oslo. What the worki g laws are and if I have to apply for a work visa if the club will assist you in applying for work papers if I need them.
Thank You!!

Hi BabyBear, Norway is not a member of the European Union. To work legally as a dancer in Oslo you need to have a passport from an EU or EØS country. If you are from a country outside Europe and wanna work in Norway you need to apply as a “specialist” to get a work permit. Unfortuantly its been specified in the law that this “specialist” work permit will not be given to a dancer who wanna work in a Strip Club. So its not possible for you to work in Oslo. Regarding Helsinki I am not sure, Finland is a member of the European Union and there might be different rules.
